Disclosed in the present invention are a non-toxic insect repellent for crops, and a manufacturing method and use thereof, the present invention comprising the following calculated in parts by weight: 0.5-2 parts of vegetable fermentation broth, 0.05-0.5 parts of vinegar, and 300 parts of water; the vegetable fermentation broth is prepared by fermenting onion and garlic type vegetables, cabbage type vegetables, green leafy vegetables, brown sugar, and warm water. The present invention breaks traditional thinking, insecticide being replaced with insect repellent in order to ensure the healthy growth of the crops, the crops being sprayed with a non-toxic liquid invented on the basis of the different respiratory systems of insects and humans and the eating habits of insects, the insects being reluctant to approach the crops due to the odour emitted by the synergy of mixing and fermentation that is difficult for the insects to tolerate; ecological balance is promoted and, after fermentation, the various vegetables are also a bio-organic fertiliser required for plant growth, enriching nutrients and promoting the growth of the crops. The present non-toxic insect repellent has a simple manufacturing process and does not require investment in equipment, and is low cost and completely safe.
