The present invention relates to a cooling system comprising a first cooling circuit (1) cooling a first object (4), a second cooling circuit (2) cooling a second object (5), an expansion tank (15), a first deaeration line (1f) directing coolant and air from the first cooling circuit (1) to the expansion tank (15), and a second deaeration line (2f) directing coolant and air from the second cooling circuit (2) to the expansion tank (15). The cooling system comprises further a deaeration valve (17) configured to control the flow through the first deaeration line (1f), a single expansion tank outlet line (2g) configured to direct all coolant in the expansion tank (15) to the second cooling circuit (2) and a connection line (16) configured to direct coolant from the second cooling circuit (2) to the first cooling circuit (1).
