METHOD FOR PRODUCING CUSTOMISED MUZZLES FOR ANIMALS

The invention relates to a method for producing customised muzzles (1) for animals, in particular for dogs. According to the invention, in order to create advantageous manufacturing conditions, the snout (3) of the animal for which the muzzle (1) is to be made is measured first, wherein the length between the stop (6) and the nose tip (7) is measured to measure the snout (3) of the animal, and wherein at least two of the following three values are measured at the level of the stop (6): the circumference (U), the width (b) and the height (h) of the snout (3). From these measured values, the envelope of a fitting muzzle size is calculated, and, on the basis of this fitting muzzle size, a muzzle model consisting of bands running around the generated envelope and possibly crossing over one another is calculated. The muzzle (1) is then produced, in particular printed using a printer, according to the muzzle model.
