Disclosed in the present application are a feature screening method and apparatus, a computer device and a storage medium, belonging to the field of data processing technology. The method comprises: extracting an initial feature set of a target object; excluding features unrelated to a target service function from the initial feature set to obtain a candidate feature set; respectively calculating the degree of association between the candidate feature set and the target service function as well as the degree of association between at least two different feature combinations in the candidate feature set and the target service function, and determining a valid feature related to the target service function from the candidate feature set according to the degrees of association. In addition, the present invention further provides a feature screening apparatus, a computer device, and a storage medium. Said feature screening method and apparatus, computer device and storage medium can reduce the amount of calculation for determining the association with the target service function, reduce the time for feature screening, and effectively improve feature screening efficiency.
