Disclosed are a broadcast signal transmission/reception method applied with frequency bandwidth scalability using multiples of a default bandwidth and an apparatus for the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the broadcast signal transmission method includes: a step of generating a multiplexed signal by multiplexing a first broadcast service signal corresponding to a first broadcast service and a second broadcast service signal corresponding to a second broadcast service different from the first broadcast service; a step of generating a transmission signal by modulating the multiplexed signal so that the first broadcast service and the second broadcast service share a multiple band corresponding to a multiple of a basic bandwidth and corresponding to a multiple bandwidth smaller than the whole bandwidth; and a step of transmitting the transmission signal by using the multiple band.
