The present invention relates to a system and a method for performing stability inspection on a power transmission tower by using an unmanned aerial vehicle, capable of allowing an inspector on a ground to safely recognize stability of a structure. The system for performing the stability inspection on the power transmission tower by using the unmanned aerial vehicle includes: the unmanned aerial vehicle including a sensor unit, a flight control module, a communication unit, a camera unit, an unmanned aerial vehicle image processing unit, an image data transmission unit, a battery, a charging unit, and an unmanned aerial vehicle control unit; an unmanned aerial vehicle control device for performing flight control of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and a ground image processing device including an image data reception unit for receiving image data transmitted from the image data transmission unit, an image processing unit for performing image processing on the received image data to store or repeatedly check a damaged part of the power transmission tower, and an image monitor for displaying the image data processed by the image processing unit.
