The present invention relates to a polyurethane having improved physical properties and increased bio-contents with a modified microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) charged and combined thereto, and a manufacturing method thereof, and more specifically, to a polyurethane in which MCC surface-modified as hydrophobic properties is combined, coated, reacted, polymerized or charged, and a manufacturing method of the polyurethane. The polyurethane of the present invention has an advantage of improving tensile strength, yield strength and biomass contents at the same time, and increasing compatibility of surface-modified microcrystalline cellulose and polyurethane. In addition, the polyurethane of the present invention inhibits the use of oil because of high biomass content, thereby reducing emissions of carbon dioxide.
