The present invention relates to a coating composition for an aluminum alloy powder used as a printing material in the field of 3D printers. The coating composition comprises 0.5 to 35 wt% of a flux powder, 0.05 to 10 wt% of a water soluble adhesive, 0.05 to 1.0 wt% of a defoaming agent, and 30 to 65 wt% of water (solvent) and oxidation of the aluminum alloy powder during melting and solidification of the aluminum alloy powder is prevented by forming a functional coating on the aluminum alloy powder for 3D printers, thereby reducing the incidental cost and the working load associated with the operation of the 3D printer.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
