The present invention relates to a sewage treatment system to which an anaerobic ammonium oxidation reaction method is applied in a water treatment process (a mainstream process) and which uses counter current water to stably supply nitrite nitrogen required for the anaerobic ammonium oxidation reaction. By applying the anaerobic ammonium oxidation reaction method, it is possible to simultaneously treat nitrogen and phosphorus in the water treatment process, and also to reduce the load of pollution and sewage treatment costs by using the counter current water as a source of nitrite nitrogen.
