CCS CABLE BROADCASTING SERVICE SYSTEM AND SERVICE METHOD BASED ON CABLE CONVERGENCE SOLUTION

The present invention relates to a cable convergence solution (CSS)-based cable broadcasting service system and a service method for the same. The CSS-based cable broadcasting service system comprises: an IP gateway which receives a digital cable broadcasting signal transmitted from a transmission system of a cable broadcasting company via a coaxial cable network, identifies a first partial value forming an IP address through frequency mapping information for each channel-specific program classified from the received digital cable broadcasting signal, puts number information related to each of the channel-specific programs into a set calculation equation to generate a second partial value forming the IP address to generate an IP address for each of the channel-specific programs, and transmits each of the channel-specific programs to an IP network using the generated IP address as a destination address; and a cable broadcasting receiver which has the same frequency mapping information as the IP gateway, has a function of generating an IP address for each of the channel-specific program in the same method as the IP gateway, generates an IP address corresponding to a program or VOD of a channel requested by a user, and transmits a broadcasting request signal using the generated IP address as a destination address to the IP network to receive corresponding broadcasting information.
