The present invention relates to a functional food composition for maintenance of mineral balance in body, prevention of absorption into body of heavy metal, discharge of heavy metal, detoxification and the like by using cicada larva, wherein the food composition is prepared by using cicada larva which improves the taste of cicada larva during preparation of a dried powder of the cicada larva to improve the adaptability of a person eating the cicada larva. The composition contains the dried powder of the cicada larva obtained by parboiling killed cicada larva and leaves of Lycium chinense with water for 5 to 20 seconds and drying the mixture at the temperature of 40 to 60C, at least one sulfur-containing amino acid selected from a group consisting of methionine, cysteine and cystine, tocopherol, pyridoxine, ascorbic acid, calcium, magnesium, zinc and selenium-containing dried yeast.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
