A GAIT ANALYSIS DEVICE AND METHOD FOR NEUROLOGICAL DISEASES USING ANKLE-WORN ACCELEROMETER

Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for analyzing a walk by using an acceleration sensor worn on an ankle. The apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a receiving part receiving a signal according to a walk of a patient from an acceleration sensor included in a band worn on an ankle of the patient; and an analysis part preprocessing a signal due to the received walk of the patient, extracting features from the preprocessed signal, calculating energy of the walk by using the extracted features and calculating correlation coefficients for the features of the walk, to analyze the walk of the patient.
