The present invention relates to an ultrasonic measurement apparatus comprising: an ultrasonic sensor (6) for transmitting and receiving an ultrasonic frequency set to measure a water level or an interface by using ultrasonic waves; and a converter (4) for managing transmission and reception of an ultrasonic frequency suitable for an ultrasonic frequency band set in the ultrasonic sensor (6), measuring a water level and an interface, confirming error occurrence of a measured value according to an elapsed time while automatically recognizing a frequency band set when installing the ultrasonic sensor, and controlling a defense level of removing a frequency which is reflected by a structure which is not a medium during frequency transmission and reception by the ultrasonic sensor (6) in order to solve the error occurrence. When installing a water level meter and an interface meter using an ultrasonic frequency, a frequency band can be automatically set according to an installation environment. The ultrasonic sensor (6) can be easily installed as compared to a case in which a transducer (4) frequency is manually and directly installed through a test after the ultrasonic sensor (6). The reliability of a measurement value can be improved by adjusting a defense level to reduce an error of the measurement value.
