The present invention relates to a method for checking access and exit of children in a school bus, and more specifically, to a method for checking access and exit of children in a school bus, in which information on children who get in the school bus is provided to a driver and a manager in real time, thereby preventing an accident that occurs when a child leaves the school bus and enabling the safe driving of the school bus. To this end, the present invention includes: a seat occupancy detection sensor provided in each of car seats in a vehicle to detect whether a child is seated; a first terminal provided in a driver′s seat and connected to the seat occupancy detection sensor to receive and display seating detection information; and an alarm indicator connected to the first terminal and operated when the vehicle is turned off based on the detection of the seating information. In addition, the present invention provides a method including: detecting whether or not a user is seated by using a seat occupancy detection sensor, and transmitting the sensed information to the first terminal; receiving, displaying and confirming information transmitted from the seat occupancy detection sensor through the first terminal; and generating a warning in a warning indicator when the vehicle is turned off in a state that the seating information is sensed.
