The present invention relates to a frequency hopping transmission/reception method using a packet-based synchronization sequence performed in a digital walkie-talkie. Particularly, the present invention relates to a frequency hopping transmission/reception method using a packet-based variable synchronization sequence which further includes a transmission end security means according to the packet unit frequency hopping information and a transmission end security means using a variable synchronization sequence in a transmission digital walkie-talkie. A frequency hopping transmission method using packet-based synchronization sequence according to the present invention can improve the survivability of a digital walkie-talkie user by ensuring the security of a transmission end even for equipment having no information security. The frequency hopping transmission/reception method includes a step of transmitting a synchronized common frame, and a step of transmitting a synchronized hopping frame.
