Provided is a wearable device for controlling display content based on hand motion recognition. According to the present invention, the wearable device for controlling display content according to an input signal set by hand motion type of which patterns are recognized by detecting electromyogram information, a motion-related physical quantity and the like is worn in a wrist part of a user to improve user convenience and wearability. The wearable device provides a structure in which the length of a band is adjusted and a structure in which a plurality of electromyogram measurement electrodes are arranged in a double row while minimally selecting intuitive hand motions with a high recognition successful rate to accurately recognize hand motions without model calibration due to user change, and also provides a structure in which the electromyogram measurement electrodes are constantly adhered to an irregular curved surface of the wrist part in a customized manner to maintain high performance stability due to various users and high performance stability due to situation change of the user. In addition, the wearable device is designed to have a minimal smart band only performing a clock function and a UI function, thereby meeting visual satisfaction and improving portability, lightweightness and usability.
