The present invention relates to a hollow nanoreactor and a method for manufacturing the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a hollow nanoreactor by forming a manganese oxide support shell formed on an inner surface of an outer silica shell of the hollow nanoreactor into noble metal particles by using a dual galvanic substitution reaction and replacing the support with a cerium oxide support. On the inner surface of the silica shell, the cerium oxide support having small noble metals spread evenly is formed. The manufactured hollow silica nanoreactor can be used as a catalyst for carbon monoxide removal having excellent oxidation reaction of carbon monoxide due to the synergy effect between noble metal/cerium (IV) oxide.
