According to the present invention, in a socket joint of a socket type, a rubber ring (R) with a horizontal watertight unit (Q) and a vertical watertight unit (P) of an arc shape integrated with each other is positioned in a horizontal space and a vertical space of the socket joint. Moreover, even if a compression force is increased by a heavy weight in a gravitational direction of a concrete pipe, an elastic restoring force is expanded while curves of the upper ends of the first and the second curved elastic wing are expanded and curved to a lower portion thereof to form a horizontal watertight structure of preventing compression of the first and the second curved elastic wing. The vertical watertight unit (P) of an arc shape with a hollow space (E) is positioned in the vertical space which is not affected by gravitational compression. When a straight concrete sewer pipe is attached and connected to the socket joint, the vertical watertight unit (P) is expanded and becomes a vertical watertight structure of the vertical space. Consequently, the watertight structures in two directions (horizontal and vertical) are formed in the horizontal and the vertical space by the single rubber ring (R).
