How to mask objects in the video file without loosing their outline

The present invention relates to a masking processing apparatus and a masking processing method for protecting personal information of an object included in a moving picture. In order to overcome the difficulty of grasping a behavior of the object by a conventional personal information masking method of a CCTV image to protect personal information by hiding the object with a square or circular shape, the movement of the object can be grasped by hiding the object while forming a boundary along the outline of the object, thereby reducing the difficulty of reading due to masking and improving an original function of the CCTV image as surveillance and accident detection.
