The present invention relates to a method for improving the security of a network with an IoT device in a cloud service and an apparatus using the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for improving the security of a network with IoT devices comprises the steps of: connecting a user device to a first virtual local area network (VLAN) which is one VLAN among a plurality of VLANs; determining whether to connect the user device to a second VLAN which is one VLAN among the plurality of VLANs; disconnecting the user device and the first VLAN when the user device is connected to the second VLAN according to a determination resu and connecting the user device to the second VLAN. Therefore, a management of a network with the improved security can be promoted.
