The present invention aims to provide a 3D printing system, a controlling method for controlling the 3D printing system, and a medium for recording a 3D printing computer program for controlling the 3D printing system which can express various colors on a 3D printed material in a relatively simple method. The 3D printing system comprises: a control unit composed of a basic 3D shape information generating unit for generating basic 3D shape information, a printing area setting unit for setting a printing area where a fixed image is to be printed in the basic 3D shape information, and a mapping image generating unit for generating mapping image data where the fixed image is mapped on the printing area; a 3D printing device conducting 3D printing based on the basic 3D shape information; and an image printing device printing based on the mapping image data on the printing area included in the 3D printed material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
