According to an embodiment of the present invention, a location status based encryption device includes: a memory storing a geo-fencing entry status by using information on geo-fencing composed of at least one imaginary zone; and a processor electrically linked to the memory. The processor comprises the following steps of: (a) updating the geo-fencing entry status based on a present location status; and (b) selecting one of the at least one imaginary zone based on the present location status and generating password based on the selected imaginary zone, when the geo-fencing entry status is confirmed as entered.
