The present invention relates to a method for crosstalk control in a copper wire-based bidirectional gigabit transmission system, capable of allowing a large capacity of uplink traffic to smoothly perform gigabit transmission without being interfered by crosstalk. According to the present invention, a GAM receives the amount of transmission data traffic of each GNT through an OAM frame which is shared between the GNT and the GAM. The GAM allocates a transmission frequency bandwidth in accordance with each amount of data traffic, and transmits a frequency bandwidth allocation setting value to the GNT.
