The present invention relates to a photovoltaic power generation system for improving power generation efficiency of a solar cell panel. To this end, the photovoltaic power generation system comprises: a current detection unit for detecting and outputting a current of an output terminal on one side of a solar cell panel; a voltage output unit for detecting and outputting a voltage between output terminals on both sides of the solar cell panel; and a maximum power point tracking control device connected to the current detection unit and a voltage detection unit, outputting a pulse signal having a duty ratio with a predetermined size for every maximum power point tracking period to a power adjustment device, determining a panel output current and a panel output voltage of the solar cell panel using signals applied by the voltage detection unit and the current detection unit after outputting the pulse signal, and performing a maximum power point tracking operation by calculating panel power using the determined panel output current and the panel output voltage.
