The present invention relates to a location-based alumni business building system and method, and more specifically, to a location-based alumni business building system and method which can develop a reliable business relationship based on an alumni relationship through exchange of business information with alumni members close to a member and cooperation therewith on the basis of personal information, business information, and location information of the member. In order to achieve the above purpose, the location-based alumni business building system includes a server and a terminal. The server includes: a first storage unit storing personal information of members; a second storage unit storing real-time business information of the members; an alumni management unit filtering and managing alumni members based on the personal information stored in the first storage unit; a third storage unit storing, in real time, location information of the alumni members filtered by the alumni management unit based on a GPS; a location management unit filtering alumni members located within a certain distance from the user based on the location information stored in the third storage unit; and a location notification unit informing a user of the location information of alumni members having business information belonging to the same category as the business information inputted by the user based on the second storage unit and the location management unit.
