Imaging system with adaptive high beam control device

An imaging system is provided herein. The image sensor is configured to capture one or more images of the outside and front scenes of the controlled vehicle and to generate image data corresponding to the captured images. A controller is communicatively coupled to the image sensor and configured to receive and analyze the image data. The controller generates an ON signal or an OFF signal based on the detection or lack of interest in the image data. The vehicle's high beam control is turned on based on the ON signal or OFF based on the OFF signal. The controller changes the future response time at which the OFF signal is generated based on an external override of the ON signal or the OFF signal.
