Integrate selectable application links into message exchange threads

A method, apparatus, system and computer readable medium for integrating application links into message exchange threads are provided. One or more queues originating from a message exchange thread comprising more than one message exchange client may be detected. One or more of the queues may trigger the integration of the selectable link to a separate application into the message exchange thread. At least one candidate application installed on a given client computing device operated by a message exchange thread participant may be identified. The candidate application may be associated with the content of the message exchange thread. The selectable link may be incorporated into the transcript of the message exchange thread displayed in the graphical user interface of the message exchange client operating in the given client computing device. The selectable link may be operable by the participant to expose an interface associated with each candidate application to the participant.
