The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition to treat anaplastic thyroid carcinoma containing celastrol, wherein the celastrol induces cytotoxicity through controlling Bcl2 family protein, participation and phosphorylation NF-κB of an extinction acceptor, Akt, and MAPK while generating endoplasmic reticulum stress and active oxygen in an anaplastic thyroid carcinoma cell. Moreover, the celastrol provides an increase effect along with paclitaxel in cytotoxicity inducement of the anaplastic thyroid carcinoma cell.
