Method for Propagation of Viburnum koreanum Using Somatic Embryogenesis Technique

The present invention relates to a method for propagation of Viburnum koreanum using induction of somatic embryogenesis. More specifically, the present invention relates to the method for inducing callus and somatic embryogenesis from a petiole or a vein of Viburnum koreanum and mass-producing Viburnum koreanum using the same. The method for propagation of Viburnum koreanum according to the present invention can effectively and continuously propagate a large number of plants, thereby gaining a competitive edge of securing biodiversity and being able to develop new drugs through analysis of medicinal effects and to be developed into new landscaping trees so as to be utilized as income plants.
