The present invention relates to a rogue access point (AP) detection system comprising a user terminal and a detection server. The user terminal detects whether an accessed AP is a rogue AP based on a uniform resource locator (URL) access detection-based rogue AP database, and uses one or more from secure socket layer (SSL) certificate validity information of a preset server, electronic signature information of an accessed webpage, or media access control (MAC) address collection information of an accessed gateway to determine whether the accessed AP is the rogue AP when the information of the accessed AP is not inquired in the rogue AP database. The detection server shares the rogue AP database with the user terminal. When the rogue AP detection system is used, provided are advantages of detecting existence of a rogue AP having an unknown shape through access detection using a one-time URL and detecting an address resolution protocol (ARP) spoofing attack.
