The present application provides a method, an apparatus, an electronic equipment and a storage medium for performing screening and statistical operation on data. The method comprises: a step of obtaining a data region on which screening and statistical operation is to be performed in a data table, wherein the data region may contain content in multiple rows and multiple fields, and the content may have a plurality of different types; a step of receiving a screen instruction of a user for screening a field specified by a user to view in the data region; a step of obtaining all content contained in the field specified by the user to view in the data region in accordance with the screen instruction of the user; a step of classifying and summarizing all the content to obtain a classification statistic result of various types of content, wherein the classification statistic result includes the various types of content and values corresponding to the various types of content; and a step of displaying the statistic result on the screening panel in a specified manner. The method allows users to acquire statistic results in the simplest manner to lower the threshold of data analysis, save time and labor, and improve the efficiency of statistics.
