The present invention relates to a tool adapter mounted on a handle of a common-use tool to manipulate the common-use tool by a robot hand. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the robot hand grips a tool adapter mounted on a handle of a tool and controls gripping force of the robot hand to manipulate the tool. According to another embodiment of the present invention, the robot hand grips the tool adapter mounted on the handle of the tool and moves the tool toward an object to adjust the strength of the tool pressing the object, thereby operating the tool. The tool adaptor according to the present invention has versatility applicable to various kinds of common-use tools. In addition, the tool adaptor according to the present invention does not require a mechanical/electrical interface between a tool adapter and a robot hand, and thus a robot can replace and operate a tool automatically in a work site at a remote place.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
