The present invention relates to a paint for road facilities and, more specifically, to a paint with superior reflectivity to a radar, which is applied to road facilities such as a lane, a curb and a central divider in order to be easily sensed by the radar mounted in a vehicle. The paint for road facilities contains a metal piece having at least one component among aluminum, titanium and tungsten. The metal piece is desired to have a thin film type plate piece shape, an average diameter of less than 1 cm and the weight of less than 10 g. According to a method for applying a paint of the present invention, a paint is applied, which contains metal pieces with different average diameters according to the kind of road facility. The present invention allows the radar of the vehicle to accurately sense road facilities such as a lane, a central divider and a curb regardless of weather conditions in an economical method. The present invention can apply the different reflectivity to the radar for a lane, a central divider and a curb in an economical method such that an ECU of the vehicle senses the kind of the road facility to perform necessary and proper control operation. In addition, the present invention can differentiate the reflectivity to the radar according to the kind of lane, e.g. a central lane, a stop line and other lanes such that the ECU of the vehicle senses the lane to perform necessary and proper control operation. As a result, the present invention provides a technical base that can increase convenience in driving the vehicle and prevent accidents, and supports technical development in an automatic driving vehicle which is getting sophisticated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
