The present invention relates to a vertical heat treatment furnace to manufacture high purity metal powder and a high purity metal powder manufacturing method using the same and, more specifically, to a vertical heat treatment furnace to manufacture high purity metal powder, to prevent sintering of metal powder and prevent re-oxidation of the metal powder during reduction, and a high purity metal powder manufacturing method using the same. According to the present invention, the vertical heat treatment furnace comprises: a vertical chamber unit having a hollow inner part, and including a high temperature zone of an upper side and a light zone of a lower side; a heating unit to heat the high temperature zone in the vertical chamber unit; and a nozzle unit disposed on the lower part of the vertical chamber unit and injecting hydrogen gas toward the upper part of the vertical chamber unit. When the metal powder is loaded and dropped from the upper part, oxygen included in the metal powder reacts with the hydrogen gas to be reduced in the high temperature zone.
