AIR PURIFIER UNIT WITH ULTRAVIOLET PHOTO CATALYSIS AND AIR PURIFIER APPARATUS COMPRISING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an air purifying unit using an ultraviolet photocatalyst and an air purifying apparatus comprising the same. The air purifying unit using the ultraviolet photocatalyst of the present invention comprises: a housing; an inlet formed on one side of the housing; a pre-filter for filtering air entering the inlet; a first ultraviolet irradiation part formed in a flow path of air passing through the pre-filter and including a vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) lamp; a second ultraviolet irradiation part formed in a flow path of air passing through the first ultraviolet irradiation part and including an ultraviolet C lamp (UVC); a photocatalyst part formed in the first ultraviolet irradiation part and the second ultraviolet irradiation part; and a discharge part formed on the other side of the housing. The present invention can simultaneously remove bacteria, viruses, and ozone in the air and prevent secondary contamination of the air purifying apparatus.
