The present invention relates to a cable tray protection device for fire prevention which is coupled to a cable tray for supporting a plurality of cables. To this end, the cable tray protection device for fire prevention comprises: a cover having a predetermined length, having an accommodation space formed therein, having an opening unit formed on one side thereof and coupled with the opening unit and the cable tray in a state where a cable is located inside the accommodation space; and an extinguishment unit provided inside the cover, arranged to be adjacent to the cable and supplying an extinguishment material toward the cable if heat, of which the temperature is greater than or equal to a predetermined temperature, is applied.
