The present invention relates to a simulation method to optimize power management of a user and a computing device using the same. More particularly, according to the method of the present invention, the computing device analyzes a power consumption pattern based on power consumption related information of the user, calculates an optimal solar power generation amount from a solar power generation amount determining element corresponding to the user based on the degree of set energy independence, and calculates an optimal power energy storage amount based on the power consumption pattern resulting from the analysis and the optimal solar power generation amount.
