MUC16 SNP SNP MARKERS DERIVED FROM MUC16 GENE FOR DIAGNOSING DRY EYE SYNDROME AND USE THEREOF

The present invention relates to a technique for selecting single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) having a significant correlation with dry eye syndrome and using the same as a marker to predict the risk of developing dry eye syndrome. More specifically, the present invention relates to a microarray, a kit, and a composition for diagnosing dry eye syndrome, which comprises SNP sites rs1423051, rs1895364, rs2194168, rs2574063, rs1344572, rs1559172 or rs2547067 in MUC16 gene on the human chromosome 19; and to a method for predicting the risk of developing dry eye syndrome by identifying bases in the SNP sites.
