The present invention relates to an error detection circuit and method of an electromagnetic flowmeter that is capable of checking accuracy in a flowmeter being used and an electromagnetic flowmeter having the error detection circuit. According to the present invention, the error detection circuit includes: a detector (1) having a measuring pipe (11), an excitation coil (14) and a pair of detection electrodes (12a, 12b); an excitation circuit (3); a flow rate calculating circuit (4) for calculating a rate of a fluid flowing along the measuring pipe (11); a differentiated noise measuring circuit (5) for measuring a level of magnetic flux differentiated noise from an electromotive force generated in the pair of detection electrodes (12a, 12b) located in the measuring pipe (11); and an index calculating circuit (6) for calculating an index indicating an error in the flow rate calculated by the flow rate calculating circuit (4) on the basis of the level of magnetic flux differentiated noise measured by the differentiated noise measuring circuit (5).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
