Disclosed is a method for designing a database using a hierarchical structure, which is executed through a program of a terminal designing an entity relationship diagram (ERD) of a database. According to the present invention, the hierarchical structure representation method is applied to an ERD attribute notation system to represent the hierarchical structure between attributes, so that a current system can realize a logicalization, a refinement of a method for searching the entire outline, an expression for simplifying a model by supporting a hierarchical closing function of an attribute group while creating and arranging the attribute group for each content, and an objectifying expression for allowing to manage units of attribute information independently to separate the same into individual objects in the future.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
