According to an aspect of the present invention, the present invention relates to a system for reducing a power peak using a demand power forecast which can change a power restriction value in accordance with a change in a real demand power value. The system for reducing a power peak using a demand power forecast comprises: a power restriction value setting unit setting a power restriction value for reducing a power peak of a target date; a power restriction value changing unit increasing the set power restriction value to a target value in accordance with a change in a real demand power value generated on the target date; a command value generating unit generating a discharge command value for discharging electric energy stored in a battery when the real demand power value is greater than the power restriction value; and an energy storage device reducing the power peak by discharging the battery in accordance with the discharge command value.
