The present invention relates to an underwater radiation measuring device capable of improving speed and reliability at the same time, and a radiation contamination responding system using the same. According to an aspect of the present invention, disclosed is the underwater radiation measuring device comprising an underwater radiation measuring part immersed in water and measuring underwater radiation, a control part for receiving data measured during a unit measuring time in the underwater radiation measuring part and controlling the underwater radiation measuring part; and the control part controls the unit measuring time of the underwater radiation measuring part as a first time in a normal time other than the radiation contamination situation, and the unit measuring time of the underwater radiation measuring part is controlled to be a second time shorter than the first time in the radiation contamination situation.
