(A) separating the hydrocarbon feedstock in a distillation unit into an overhead stream and a bottom stream, (b) separating the hydrocarbon feedstock into a bottom stream and a bottom stream, (C) separating the reaction product formed from the reaction zone of step (b) into a stream enriched with a single aromatic material and a stream enriched with poly-aromatics, (d) feeding the single aromatic-rich stream in gasoline hydrocracker (GHC) units, and (e) feeding the polycyclic aromatic-rich stream to the ring-opening reaction zone.
