The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition containing mastoparan MP-V1 antimicrobial peptide and at least one selected from a protease inhibitor or EDTA as active components. A mixed antimicrobial composition of mastoparan MP-V1 antimicrobial peptide and the protease inhibitor and/or EDTA of the present invention has excellent antimicrobial activity against pathogenic bacteria, thereby being able to be usefully used for a pharmaceutical composition, a cosmetic composition, pesticides, preservatives for preserving feed and the like.
