The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) for filling rod type products of a cigarette industry into a transfer container, which comprises: a region (2) for accommodating rod type products of a mass flow form; a rod type product storage region (3) including at least two sidewalls; a charging unit (4) for forming a bottom wall of the storage region, and transferring the rod type products from the storage region to a transfer container; and a descending conveyor (5) operated with the charging unit (4) to descend the transfer container while filling the same with the rod type products.
