Disclosed is a smart plug system for controlling rail lighting capable of controlling the rail lighting to turn lighting on or off through a smart plug. The smart plug system for controlling rail lighting is configured to comprise: a rail installed on a ceiling surface; a lighting unit coupled to the rail; and a smart plug terminal coupled to one end of the rail and located between the rail and a power supply line to turn power supply from the lighting unit on or off. The smart plug terminal is configured to include a communication unit communicating with a portable terminal which transmits a signal of controlling power from the lighting unit to be turned on or off.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
