The present invention relates to a use of a kenpaullone derivative for inducing the differentiation of a stem cell into a cardiomyocyte. More specifically, the kenpaullone derivative according to the present invention has excellent capability for inducing the differentiation of a stem cell into a cardiomyocyte, and the cardiomyocyte differentiated by the kenpaullone derivative has an excellent therapeutic effect for cardiopathy such as myocardial infarction.
