Nematocide Composition Comprising Plant Extracts of Indian Shell Flower Cinnamon and Neem Seed as Effective Ingredients

The present invention relates to a composition for controlling nematodes comprising an Alpinia galanga extract, a Cinnamonum cassia extract, and a Neem seed extract as active ingredients. The nematicide composition for controlling nematodes of the present invention has effects of suppressing egg incubation of Meloidogyne arenaria and causing death of caterpillars and an excellent control effect against the nematodes by decreasing second generation caterpillars of soil-distributed Meloidogyne arenaria and suppressing the formation of root nodule and nidamentum. Therefore, the composition for controlling nematodes of the present invention can be used effectively as an effective environmentally friendly nematocide material replacing chemical synthetic pesticides in the control of the nematodes.
