The present invention relates to a gas separation membrane comprising a thin film layer containing a metal-organic polyhedron and a method for manufacturing the same. The gas separation membrane comprises: a first gas separation layer formed on the upper surface of a porous substrate; a second gas separation layer formed on the upper surface of the formed first gas separation layer; and a gas selection layer formed on the upper surface of the second gas separation layer. The gas permeability is significantly enhanced as compared to a conventional gas separation membrane while maintaining the gas selectivity to the extent similar to that of the conventional gas separation membrane.
