The present invention provides a method of producing a head shape correction cap and a head shape correction cap produced thereby, wherein the head shape correction cap is configured to be smoothly breathable when worn, to facilitate the attachment and detachment thereof, and to facilitate size adjustment thereof. The method comprises: a step of scanning the head shape of a subject to be corrected; a step of forming a head shape mold of the subject to be corrected by a 3D printer based on the scanned data; a step of attaching a filling member to a recessed portion of the head shape mold so as to correspond to a reference head shape for correction; a step of forming a correction cap case to be worn on the surface of the head shape mold, to which the filling member is attached, by the 3D printer; a step of separating the correction cap case from the head shape mold and then dividing the same to the front and rear sides or to both sides; a step of preparing at least one length adjustment member at corresponding portions of each divided correction cap case; a step of forming a head shape correction form on the surface of the head shape mold, to which the filling member is attached, with a foamable mesh material by the 3D printer; and a step of attaching a detachable member to the inner side surface of the divided correction cap case and the outer side surface of the head shape correction form. Therefore, the present invention provides a head shape correction cap which can prevent the head shape of infants from being deformed and prevent a skin complaint caused by a heat rash or poor breathability when worn for a long time.
